Hi There!

I'm Christina and this is my rescue pup, Goguma (Sweet Potato in Korean). We live with my husband in Boise, Idaho. Our quilting journey began in 2018 when my introverted self was in need of an outlet to decompress from my grind as a musician and elementary school teacher. 

       

What started as an escape from work became self-care sessions as I reflected on pretty much anything and everything, including my own journey of self-love, compassion, and acceptance. Every quilt I piece together carries the thoughts and feelings that pass through me. Not only do they keep people cozy, but the process of making them changes me. (hopefully for the better!) 

I am now obsessed with quilts and quilt design, and am cultivating this space to  inspire others to enjoy quilting by:

   - highlighting beautiful elements of the process that can bring joy, fulfillment, and reflection
   - finding ways to experiment and try new things without fear of failure and/or judgment
   - designing unique and contemporary patterns that are fresh and fun to make
   - providing and giving to communities and populations in need of help 

If this place offers anything to anyone out there, my humble hope is that it serves as an intriguing rest stop for others who also like to quilt!
