This is a mini quilt pattern inspired by a simple flower arrangement and vase, brought to life through the precision of foundation paper piecing (FPP).
Originally released as part of the 2026 Machine Sampler Minis, this pattern is now available individually for quilters who would like to explore the technique at their own pace.
Finished Size: 10" x 15"
Fabric Requirements: Use of scraps is recommended.
Foundation paper piecing is perfect for creating pictorial quilt designs and adding details that would be difficult to achieve with traditional piecing. While a little experience with FPP is helpful, beginners are absolutely welcome. I've included a companion video tutorial that walks through the basics of foundation paper piecing as well as the construction of this mini quilt step by step.
